On October 6, 1971, Rainbow Technology came into existence and for 52 years had been owned and operated by Larry Joe and Sarah Dean Steeley. On December 1, 2023, Rainbow Technology came under new ownership and is now owned by Debbie McDurmin, Trisha Steeley, Lisa Steeley, and Larry Joe Steeley, Jr. These four people also make up the new Board of Directors. Debbie McDurmin was elected as the Chairman of the Board. Also, effective as of December 1, 2023, Kelly McDurmin became the President of Rainbow Technology and will report to the Board of Directors.

Rainbow Technology has been a financially sound company that invests in people and resources to service our customers to the best of our ability. This will continue to be the focus of the new ownership structure as they lead us into the next 50 years of servicing the Utility industry.
