Duct Sealer

Q-Tel 2027 (Duct Sealer 79562) is a fast-setting two component polyurethane paste-like compound that is designed for making gas-tight seals in conduit in manholes, cable vaults and buildings. It is compatible with and adheres strongly to all types of conduit materials and cable sheaths. This product does not contain TDI or MOCA and has low toxicity. Shelf life is 12 months (1 year) from date of manufacture. Recommended storage temperature is below 86 degrees F (30 degrees C). This product does not expand. When the two compounds are mixed together, it must be trialed on with the “tongue depressor/stick” which is packaged with it. It hardens like cement. It will crack if it’s moved at all. It is a thick, heavy paste.
