The Build America, Buy America (BABA), enacted as part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act on November 15, 2021, focuses on the use of services, goods, products, and materials produced and offered in the United States. BABA requires that all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in federally funded infrastructure projects must be produced in the United States, with proper documentation required to secure funding.
